Bridge42 is delighted to announce the promotion of Daniel Miller to Director, who joins the Australian consulting firm’s Board of Directors effective from 1 January 2023.

Since commencing with the company in 2005 shortly after its inception, Daniel Miller has played a pivotal role in its evolution and expansion, particularly through his most recent roles as Associate Director and VIC State Manager. Based in Melbourne, Victoria, Mr Miller will be working closely with staff and clients across the Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane markets to lead the continued growth and performance of the business on the East Coast.

Bridge42 Chairman, Ross Donaldson, said he looked forward to working with Mr Miller who was a very welcome addition to an expanded Board.

“Daniel’s presence as a Company Director based full-time on the East Coast with local experience and networks – combined with his superior analytical skills and enthusiasm for the success of the business – will be invaluable in helping the Board drive and deliver on the company’s priorities,” Mr Donaldson said.

Bridge42 Managing Director, Andrew Durkin, said the appointment coincides with finalisation of the company’s 2026 Strategic Plan which sets the direction for the business over the coming four years.

“Daniel has been a key part of the company’s growth, especially our East Coast offices and client base, and his appointment will strengthen our capacity to continue the steady growth we have achieved across our Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane teams,” Mr Durkin said.

“I admire Daniel for his progressive, strategic and analytical thinking. He also has an innate ability to effectively articulate and resolve matters in a manner which is always inclusive and well-considered.

“I have no doubt Daniel will excel in his new role.”

Mr Miller commented that the appointment was the highlight of his career to date.

“It has been an incredible journey for me at Bridge42 – starting 18 years ago as a third-year university student in an Assistant Project Manager role and the many opportunities I have since been given to continuously develop and challenge myself,” Mr Miller said.

“I am honoured and excited for this new opportunity to further my career by stepping up into an executive leadership position.

“I am also humbled and grateful to my fellow directors, colleagues, clients and industry network for their warm words of support and encouragement.

“I look forward to working with the Board and broader management team to implement the company’s 2026 Strategic Plan which seeks to reinforce our position as a highly reputable and trusted national consulting firm.

“In line with our corporate strategy, I am keen to ensure Bridge42 remains a great place to work; provides career development opportunities for staff; continues to provide a high standard of service to our clients; upholds high corporate social responsibility standards; and delivers long-term, sustainable returns to our shareholders.”

Mr Miller’s journey at Bridge42 commenced in 2005 as Assistant Project Manager while completing a Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management) at Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia. Working on a diverse portfolio of projects across the State, he was steadily promoted through the ranks to Associate Director in 2015.

In 2018, Mr Miller was entrusted with establishing the Bridge42 office in Melbourne where he expanded his experience to include projects in Victoria, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory and Northern Territory. As VIC State Manager for more than four years, he has steadily grown the local team and client base, while contributing to broader East Coast and national business development initiatives.
