Transforming the historic 1920s Powerhouse building into a vibrant cultural, community and commercial hub

About This Project

The Powerhouse Precinct Redevelopment centres around new and adaptive reuse of the existing Powerhouse building, built in the 1920s and located on the banks of the famous Murray River.

The historic Powerhouse building, adjacent car park and surrounds will be transformed into a flexible events space and tourism offering to create a vibrant cultural, community and commercial hub for locals and visitors to enjoy.
