St John of God Subiaco Hospital, the flagship for one of Australia’s largest private hospital operators, is undergoing a major redevelopment to expand and elevate its service offering and patient experience. The three-staged, campus-wide transformation involves various upgrades, refurbishment and new build works, as well as replacement of ageing hospital infrastructure.
The centrepiece of the redevelopment is a new eight-storey clinical block, featuring a Mother and Baby Centre, Heart Centre, six operating theatres and chapel.
The project also includes a new site energy plant and site water plant; new infection control ward; refurbishment of the main entry and sterilisation services department; refurbishment and upgrade of the existing commercial kitchen; and multiple lift replacements.
