Bridge42 is honored to be working in partnership with Foundation for Indigenous Sustainable Health (‘FISH’), focusing on their FISH Aboriginal Home Ownership Initiative.
On Thursday 8th August 2024, Bridge42 hosted an evening of art and reconciliation with the Foundation of Indigenous Sustainable Health.
We were privileged to display 22 artworks as part of the exhibition by Aboriginal artists from the Kimberley, metro, to the southwest of WA, and a couple from the Eastern States.
100% of the income from the sale of the art supports the artists and the work of FISH.
Our very own Justine Roberts GAICD was lucky enough to purchase the first piece of artwork from the exhibition.
It’s so lovely to have a little piece from the Bridge42 & FISH – Foundation for Indigenous Sustainable Health Art Exhibition. It is great to support one of our lovely clients and to see proceeds from my little purchase go to the artist, Linda Loo, and the work of FISH.
With a moving Welcome to Country by Nick Abraham, the evening focused on the healing power of art, family and home ownership.
It as a pleasure for Bridge42 to support our Development Advisory client, FISH, and the wonderful people they support and empower through their Aboriginal Art and homeownership programmes.
Mark Anderson, CEO of Foundation for Indigenous Sustainable Health (‘FISH’) commented:
FISH cannot do the work we do without the support of our partners such as Bridge42 and we thank you for walking with us as together we work to improve the social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and break intergenerational cycles of trauma, poverty and engagement in the justice system.
