Delivering master planning and feasibility analysis for Royal Flying Doctor Service (WA) new headquarters

Bridge42 is deeply honoured to partner with RFDS WA to deliver master planning and feasibility analysis for their new headquarters.

Every day, the Royal Flying Doctor Service (WA) receives 500+ calls and retrieves 28 people across 2.5 million square kilometres of the state.

Their vital work deserves infrastructure that supports both the staff who serve and the communities they protect.

We’re taking into account the diverse needs of stakeholders while maintaining the continuous operations of flights that retrieve critically ill individuals.

This is a complex project involving aviation uses, (hangars and air-side services), healthcare including a Class 9A emergency department, office space, control room and operations functions, and accommodation for shift workers. The project will create a new headquarters for this iconic, respected and critical service for all Western Australians. The project must maintain existing operations throughout the redevelopment process.

The new headquarters will embody the spirit of service and bring hope and healing to the most remote areas of WA.
