About This Project

UWA is a leading tertiary institution with its teaching, research and industry communities taking on some of the world’s most complex problems.

Bridge42 worked closely with UWA’s academic, technical, executive stakeholders and all project partners to deliver a world-class and award-winning facility capable of attracting the best and brightest students and academics.

Purpose-designed and built for the the University’s School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, the EZONE UWA Student Hub offers an innovative campus environment that enables current and future generations of students, staff, industry and the broader community to come together and create the solutions needed for a sustainable future.

Transformative Outcomes

+ Repurposed and reinvigorated existing infrastructure, and constructed new facilities, to create an innovative, award-winning and world-class engineering and science hub.

+ Achieved ~$1.5m in budget savings, with funding redirected toward additional features and enhancements.

+ Established new benchmarks in sustainable design and application of technology, including a digital twin.

+ Successfully delivered in a live tertiary education campus environment and despite the COVID-19 pandemic impacts.
