Zuccoli Stage 2 was part of the Northern Territory Government’s strategic land release, necessary to meet the demand for residential land in Darwin which was in short supply.
Branded as Mitchell Creek Green, the 49 hectare development is adjacent to the intersection of Lambrick Avenue and Zuccoli Parade in Palmerston, located only a short distance from the Palmerston Town Centre.
The masterplanned community encompassed circa 500 lots, large areas of formal open space and retained bush, together with a Community Purposes site and was a unique development for the Territory at the time, being the first to deliver range of lot sizes starting from 220m², targeting affordable land and home ownership. This model has now been rolled out across several developments due to its success.
